Welcome to the team, Monica!
Monica is originally from Woodstock, Georgia, where she developed a passion for horses at a young age. She spent much of her free time on the back of a horse, wandering through the woods and eventually making her way into the hunter-jumper show ring. That early passion drove her to learn more, leading her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an Equine Science concentration from Auburn University in 2013. Since graduating, Monica has been active in the veterinary field as an Equine Veterinary Assistant and has had the privilege of working alongside some of the best practitioners and surgeons. Their mentorship extended her education and helped her develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide the highest level of medical care to her patients. Outside of work, Monica’s life is devoted to her husband and the life they are building together on their farm. She absolutely enjoys cooking and baking, creating new recipes for family and friends in her free time. When she’s not in the kitchen, she can usually be found outdoors on the farm—hunting, spending time with her dog, or riding her horses. Most of all, Monica is deeply committed to her profession, providing excellent medical care to each of her patients and offering her clients a trusted place to turn when they are in need.
